                        9 Sector-Specific Development Plans Approved by PDWP

The 17th PDWP meeting for the fiscal year 2022-2023 was held on 4th October. Numerous government officials including Dr. Muhammad Sohail Anwar Chaudhary (Provincial Secretary P&D Board), Planning and Development Board Members, Provincial Secretariats, and other senior delegates attended the meeting. While the meeting was chaired by Mr. Abdullah Khan Sumbal; chairman Planning and Development Board.

In the meeting, 9 sector-specific development plans worth Rs.16, 013.51 million were approved. These developmental projects also covered the improvement of several projects including;

• Metalled Road from Pakpattan to Marlay Chowk through Purana Thana to be reconstructed.
• Reconstruction of Pakpattan Kamir Road from Chowk Arian Pakpattan to Saqb Adda 26/EB
• Rehabilitation of Metalled Road Sahiwal to Pakpattan length
• Sahiwal-Arifwala Road to Harappa Bypass via Malan Shah Chowk

The meeting concluded successfully, and the plans are expected to be executed soon.
