CDA to Set Up Miyawaki Forest on 17 Acres of Land

Chairman CDA Mr. Muhammad Usman Younis and MD Mari Petroleum inaugurated the biggest Miyawaki forest of the city in Sector H-12. Other officials of the CDA also accompanied them.

The inauguration took place by planting saplings. According to details, the forest is spread over 17 acres of land and is the largest Miyawaki forest in Islamabad. 20,000 large-sized saplings of different species have been planted, while the future plan regarding the forest holds that it will be expanded in the future. 

Chairman CDA stated that the forest has been inaugurated not only to add to the natural landscape of Islamabad and make it greener, healthier, and more serene. But the forest has been launched to make Islamabad a more environment-friendly city. The forest will provide a natural shield against pollution.

Mr. Usman Younis thanked MD Mari Petroleum for their collaboration and support and said that special measures will be taken for the protection of saplings and the forest.
