ECC Approved a Grant of 115 Million PKR for GT Road

Technical supplementary grant (TSG) totaling Rs115 million has been approved by the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet for upgrading GT Road Gujrat-Lalamusa.

ECC has been notified that the housing and works ministry is carrying out the program during the current budget year through TSG.

The development plan was granted additional funding by the Ministry of Planning and Development. A document indicates that the Finance Division approved the proposal subject to the Ministry of Planning to surrender the funds, which it did on November 15, 2022.

To carry out development schemes, the ECC approved the allocation of Rs 115 million through TSG in the current fiscal year (2022-23).

The Ministry of Housing and Works submitted a summary for approval to the ECC regarding the G.T. Road Gujrat-Lalamusa to Gujrat-Dinga Road via Paswal, Kotla, Sarong, and Paswal to Thama Pliatak Lalamusa Tehsil Kharian, district Gujrat-III.
